British model and actress, Amy Jackson was born on 31 January in Knowsley Village, England. Her father is Alan Jackson, the BBC radio presenter and Marguerita Jackson is her mother. She has a height of 5' 7"(1.7 m). She is famously known for her appearance in Indian films especially the Hindi and Tamil. Amy was formerly engaged to Prateik Babbar who is also an actor.
Amy began to model at a tender age of 16 in the UK through a modelling agency, the Boss Model Management. She went on to win the Miss Teen World competition that was held in 2008 and also the 2010 Miss Liverpool title. She has continuously done commercial modelling not only in the UK but also in India under the Kollywood film industry.
Her first appearance in films was in April 2010 when she acted in a film, Madrasapattinam, alongside Matthieu Bellon and Arya. In 2012, she acted in a romantic drama, Ekk Deewana Tha which was her first Bollywood release. In 2010, she was nominated for the Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress for her role in the drama, Madrasapattinam.
In February 2017, Jackson became a victim of hacking attack. Her phone was hacked; which led to leakage of her private photos and information into the social media. Not long ago, the Bollywood actress opened up to reporters on her struggle with acne which she said started when she was still young. But on a positive note she was glad to finish her portions for the highly anticipated sci-fi thriller, Robot 2.0.
Amy, with an elegant blue cut-out gown was part of the audience at the recently held The Asian Awards and she has also bought a posh new apartment closer to Elliot’s Beach in Chennai which she is determined to design it herself using decorations she has so far collected during her travels around the world.
