Neha Sharma is a celebrated Bollywood movie actress, filmmaker, and model. She made her film debut with a supporting role in Bollywood adult thriller film, Crook in 2010. In 2012, she made several cameo appearances in Indian movies such as Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum and Teri Meri Kahaani. She also played a role in TumBin II, an Indian romantic drama film produced by Sinha and Bhushan and directed by Anubhav Sinha.
Neha Sharma was born in 1987 in Bhagalpur town located in Bihar state. She first attended the Mount Carmel School, a prestigious coeducational independent school located in the outskirts of Bhagalpur town in India. She later joined the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) where she studied a diploma in fashion design.
Upon finished her Diploma in Fashion Design, she trained in Kathak; one of the ten forms of Indian classical dance. She also traveled to the United Kingdom where she learned street hip hop, jazz, jive, meringue and salsa dance. The actress names Kate Moss as a mentor in modeling. Recently, when she appeared in a TV interview she said that she aspires to start her own clothing label. Her hobbies include dancing, reading magazines and novels, listening to music as well as cooking.

Neha Sharma has been in the international media spotlight for various reasons. Several media outlets reported that she received the Best Film on Family Values Award during the 64th National Film Awards function which was held in New Delhi on May 3, 2017. This award is as a result of the movie she directed last year known as the Little Magician.
Recently, she revealed to the media that she would love to feature in a period drama helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Mr. Bhansali is also a celebrated Bollywood movie director, producer, and screenwriter, as well as music director.
