Priyanka Chopra is an Indian singer,
actress and miss world 2000 pageant born in the year 1982 to Dr. Ashok Chopra and Dr.
Madhu Chopra. When she was old enough, she decided to either be a criminal
psychologist or a software engineer but before she could do this, she accepted
many offers to join the film industry in India which came forth as a result of
the pageant she won and the publicity surrounding her. She is one of the
highest paid Indian actresses plus the time magazine named her as one of the
100 most influential people.
Priyanka was recently on the news because of her appearance at the MET GALA which even became a hot topic. This is because of her dressing on that day. She wore a trench coat which is said to be the longest trench coat measuring 8 feet long and designed by the famous Ralph Lauren. Unfortunately, not everyone was amazed with her outfit and others started trolling her on the internet but what the haters didn't know is that she has people on her side such as her elder sister Parineeti Chopra who came to her defense saying that she looked beautiful and brilliant and such events are meant to make a statement which her sister Priyanka did.
Though there were haters who hated the outfit, there were fans all over the world who thought that the outfit was actually better than the one worn by Deepika Padukone. Since the theme of the event was Rei Kawakubo, one was to wear or dress up in an artsy outfit. While Priyanka went with a Ralph Lauren trench coat, Deepika went all vanilla with a white gown. So when the readers were asked who dressed better from the two, they picked Priyanka over Deepika. Now fans will wait and see what the actress will be up to next as we wait for the premiere of her new movie, Baywatch which will be in theatres on May 25th 2017.
